Summer nail polish must-haves

Hey guys, I was supposed to publish this post yesterday but due to internet problem, I couldn’t post it sorry for that. June is a week away which means summer is just around the corner if you live in UK you will know how irritated we are with the UK unpredictable weather. Summer for me is about going on holiday, relaxing by the beach and wearing trendy nail polish. Today’s post is about must have nail polishes for summer 2015. The nudes and red nail colours were the most popular in this year Cannes film festival 2015.

Natural Collection face products review

Happy weekend!!!  Today's post will be about the drugstore brand "Natural Collection" this was the first brand of makeup I ever owned. I started wearing makeup when I was in year 11 very light tinted moisturiser or foundation and concealer. This post is about my views on those product and the next post will be about the lip and eye products from this brand. 

              

Monday Must-have

Hi my beautiful readers, I have decided to start a new series of Monday must have, where I will be reviewing skincare or makeup  products, which I have been using for a long time. Today's post is for girls who are on a budget like me but yet want to experiment with new look.  I love wearing smokey eyes especially brown and purple. These colours complements  any eye color but if you have brown or blue eyes this post will be helpful for you. This post is about an eye shadow palette which is  affordable and easily available in any Superdrug branch.

NYC ( New York Color) offers great quality and shades that are affordable. However only  Superdrug sells this brand makeup, as far as I am aware ( do correct me if I am incorrect) in the UK. I came across this brand 2 years ago I  have tried various product from this brand which I will do the detail haul as soon as I can. So follow me on Instagram to stay updated

To create perfect purple smokey eye I use NYC individual eyes - 945  Midtown Mauve. The price is £3.99, which I think it's a bargain and perfect to wear this summer. The palette contains 4 eye shadows, a primer  and an illuminator. The pigmentation of these shadows are amazing and they do last upto 6 hours. It does come with the sponge applicator which is not useful. Superdrug also has similar palette for those ladies who has beautiful blue eye the palette is called NYC individual eyes-942 smokey blues.

You can create 2 looks using this palette, a soft purple smokey eyes which is perfect to wear day time and heavy smokey eye which is perfect for the evening.

For the  soft purple smokey eye, start with the base which is number 1 from the palette and apply the highlighter only into the inner corner of the eyes, which is number 3 in the palette. After that apply number 5 all over the lid and number 4 in outer eyes and blend using the blending brush.

For heavy smokey purple eye start with the base and number 3 in the inner corner of the eye. Apply number 4 all over the lid and number 6 in the outer corner. Finish it off with eyeliner,mascara and pink lipstick.
