Natural Collection face products review

Happy weekend!!!  Today's post will be about the drugstore brand "Natural Collection" this was the first brand of makeup I ever owned. I started wearing makeup when I was in year 11 very light tinted moisturiser or foundation and concealer. This post is about my views on those product and the next post will be about the lip and eye products from this brand.

The makeup product from this brand is very cheap only £1.99 and as far as I know it is only available from Boots store but I believe you can get this products online. Boots always has some offers on this makeup either 3for2, 3 for £5, recent offer is buy 1 get 2nd half price. (Click here for further information).

The tinted moisturiser is available in 3 shades natural, fair and beige.  The consistency is very creamy which means you are not require to wear moisturiser, thus great if you are in hurry and only needs the minor coverage. Another advantage of this tinted moisturiser is it provides sheer coverage which leaves skin feeling soft. Suitable for all the skin type, even sensitive skin as I have used and have not experienced any breakage. It also does not have any fragrance, which makes a suitable for the sensitive skin. I usually use this when I am in hurry and I must say it does the job what it claimed by this tinted moisturiser. The price is only £1.99 and tube consistent off 40ml. The only thing I didn't like its only available in 3 shades, thus it is a bit difficult to find a perfect shades, but cannot complain if we consider the price.

However, the colour foundation is available in 6 shades, thus wider selection of shades available to match the complexion. However it is very necessary to get the correct shade and applied using the sponge or brush to get the coverage and for natural looking finish. Applying too much may leave your skin looking orange thus apply a primer before apply this medium coverage foundation. However, the thing I didn't like is that it is not long lasting thus requires reapplying, but cannot complain as it’s very affordable. Another thing is that it is very creamy so can get away from applying moisturiser and suitable for the sensitive skin despite the packaging recommending only for normal/combination skin. However if you have oily skin I would recommended getting the shine away foundation as this foundation may leave your skin looking oily. Click here

Lastly want to inform you about my favourite product that I have been using for more than 3 years. That is the Natural Collection cover up cream in shade fair. It is available in 2 shades fair and medium. This is a concealer thus I would recommend selecting lightest shade. The best concealer which covers the blemishes and spots. The cover-up cream is easily blend able and perfect to cover the dark circles. I have been using this cream to conceal my breakouts and dark circles. Girls if you love wearing eye shadows like me then this is the perfect to use as a primer, as it makes the eye shadow last longer.

Overall, I would say it is highly recommended products for those girls who just has started wearing the makeup and looking for something that provides them some coverage while leaving skin feeling soft and providing natural looking finish. The way I used this product is if I am using the foundation if I need a little bit more coverage then I would start with moisturiser, following by the concealer to conceal any imperfection and dark circles. If I am using the tinted moisturiser I would not bother moisturising as it leaves my skin looking oily, thus just apply the tinted moisturiser after completing skin care routine and finish it off with the cover up cream.

Quick tip, you can use the natural collection concealer as a highlighter remember to get the lightest shade.
