Natural Collection pressed powder and blush review

Since my review on Natural collection face products was quite popular, and as you know that was the first makeup brand I owned. I have decided to share with you my review on the Natural Collection pressed powder and blusher.  The price of the Natural collection product is £1.99 and exclusively available at Boots.

Natural collection pressed powder is available in 3 shades which are warm, neutral and cool. The shade I am in is neutral.  The pressed powder has been designated to reduce the shine to give a matte finish to skin. The texture of the powder is very soft and easily can be applied using the powder brush. There are 3 ways I use this pressed powder, firstly I use this powder to set off my foundation or tinted moisturizer as it sets my foundation very well. Secondly, in the weekend I avoid wearing full face makeup, thus after applying  moisturiser I set it off using this pressed powder to reduce the shine. Lastly, this is the trick I have learnt recently which I do if I need my eye makeup to last long. After applying the Natural Collection cover up cream as eye primer I set of the primer using this powder as it does not have any colour. The reason to use this pressed powder to set off the eye primer as it prevents the eye shadow from creasing.

The packaging is quite simple which has Natural collection logo printed on the lid. It is made out of plastic so even if you drop it on the floor there is less chance of you breaking the powder as the bottom of the container is made out of quite thick plastic.  I would highly recommend trying this pressed powder out as it leaves matte finish and perfect to set foundation especially for the oily skin. The one thing I didn’t like is there are only 3 shades to choose which makes it difficult for everyone to find their perfect shade, not long lasting thus requires touch up frequently but considering the price it does what it states in the product description.

Pros :- leaves matte finish, cheap, suitable for all skin type.
Cons:- only available in 3 shades and not long lasting.

Next product highly recommended for those who love wearing blush it's Natural collection blushed cheeks. The shades I have are ‘pink cloud’ and ‘rosey glow’.  Pink cloud is matte pink which is perfect to wear every day. Rosey glow is matte dark peach shade, which looks amazing on tan skin. There are varieties of shades to select from as per the website there are 6 different blush colours available. However, I would definitely recommend before buying the product to visit your local Boots, because as per the Boots website all available shades looks similar. The thing I like about the natural collection blush especially ‘pink cloud’ is that they are very pigmented, soft  and  if you apply very lightly on skin it appears very shuttle  natural hint of colour to cheeks without overpowering.  Also, I liked the packaging as it’s very simple yet very attractive. Also, I liked that its fragrance free which makes it suitable to wear for all skin type, even for  sensitive skin.

Highly recommend trying out this blush especially in shade pink cloud and peach melba.

Pros :- Natural finish, affordable, long lasting, available in various shades
Cons:-  Swatches are incorrect online

Current offer of 2 for £3.50 is going in all Natural collection makeup at Boots.
