Hi my lovelies, continuing with my Monday must have series
this post is going to be about one of my favourite BB cream, which I have been
wearing all this summer. I came across Rimmel BB cream last year but I never
included in my makeup routine as back then I had various spot and acne scar, thus always
covered using the foundation. As my skin has improved since then I have only
been wearing this BB cream as it provides amazing coverage while leaving skin appearing radiant.
Rimmel BB cream is available from any drugstore and there is
always some sort of offers is going on in Boots
or Superdrug. Currently there is an offer going in Superdrug on selected Rimmel makeup product for 2 for £10. The retail price of this BB cream is £6.99 for
30ml and it comes in tube packaging. It’s available in 3 shades very light,
light and medium which makes it easier to find the perfect shade. I am in shade
light which is perfect shade for me as it blends into my skin very easily. This
light weighted bb cream contains SPF 25 something which is necessary for me to
have in my product as I believe wearing SPF its essential whether its summer or
winter as it protects skin against any skin damage and skin ageing.
The packaging states this BB cream provides 9 results in 1 as it primes, moisturises, minimises the appearances of pores, conceal, coverage, smoothness, mattifies, brighten and helps protect. In terms of moisturising I never applied this BB cream without any moisturiser or primers due to having a very dry skin. However, it has helped me in minimising pores as I have very large pores around my cheek area but as soon I apply this bb cream it has reduced the appearance of pores.I would highly recommend this product especially for people with large pores issue as it will definitely help in minimising. Also people with oily skin this is suitable as it leaves skin appearing smooth and matt finish.
As I mentioned at the beginning this was one of my must have
summer essential this year as it was multipurpose product for me. I apply this BB cream
after moisturising my skin using the Real Techniques miracle sponge. Also, if I
need to conceal those dark circle this is the best BB cream as it conceals and brightens my
under eye perfectly with only small amount due to its creamy consistency. It provides greater coverage and suitable in
covering my redness and minor acne scars. I have been wearing this BB cream for
6 hours but it requires minor touch up and for that I have been using Rimmel
match perfection powder.
